Sworn In – Endless Gray (Track Of The Day, 22nd April)

“Saying it makes it real”

Our Track Of The Day is a confessional from Illinois metalcore four piece Sworn In. Sworn In are Tyler Dennen (vocals), Chris George (drums), Eugene Kamlyuk (guitar and backing vocals), and Derek Bolman (bass). Sworn In have already had a good year so far, signing to Fearless Records and jumping on the Vans Warped Tour. The band have also shared on social media they’ve been working on new music which we can’t wait to hear.

“Endless Gray” was released as a single in August 2016 and is a heavy and chaotic track. It expresses what has been going on for some time, but has been better/easier to remain as unsaid or unacknowledged. With anxious vocals, it’s clear a point has been reached for change and support.

“I’ll pretend that I’m sleeping at night
I’ll pretend that everything feels alright
I’ll pretend that I’m sleeping at night
I’ll pretend that everything feels alright”

The track moves through a number of sections and timing changes, expressing all that is going on within a person struggling and finally reaching out.
