Prior to dropping their incredible album The Mortal Coil, Sydney’s Polaris celebrated the release of their single “The Remedy” with a tour of Australia, bringing Belle Haven, Deadlights and Daybreak along for the ride. The show was at The Brightside and Rowan Donohue was there for Depth Mag to capture all of the bands in action.
Daybreak
The Perth based heavy band opened the night, having released Death Dreams EP earlier in the year. The band later expressed gratitude toward Polaris for having them on their tour.
“We’re forever thankful to Polaris for the opportunity to showcase our tunes up the east coast, they’re some of the most genuine people we’ve met in this scene and they deserve everything that’s about to come their way. “

Deadlights
Brisbane’s Deadlights have had a massive time by way of touring, joining Polaris as well as playing with Northlane, Sworn In and ERRA on the Mesmer tour! Hanging out for new music from these guys having thoroughly thrashed Mesma.

Belle Haven
Melbourne’s Belle Haven have celebrated their professional and personal disappointments and hurts in the powerful tracks of their album You, Me and Everything in Between. It’s been a pleasure to see that chapter for the band unfold this year.
Belle Haven shared that they were “infinitely thankful to Polaris for inviting us to join them on ‘The Remedy’ Australian Tour. It was easily our favourite Aus tour to date.”

Polaris
Polaris are doing incredible things in the world of heavy music, rightfully catching the eye and ears of people all over the world with their phenomenal sound, and no doubt growing exponentially now with the release of The Mortal Coil. No sooner had they finished up on The Remedy tour, they released a single, hopped on a plane for a tour of Europe and then seem to have dropped the album of the year. Polaris’ hard work is clearly paying off.
