Half the Animal – Bad Bad Love (New Music)

Turn up the Friday chill factor with Half the Animal. The Los Angeles alternative rock quartet have released “Bad Bad Love” and it’s so easy to fall for. The band are Chase Johnson (vocals), Nick Gross (drums), Evan Smith (bass), and Dan Graham (guitar).

“Bad Bad Love” has addictive hallmarks and polish of pop with a gritty vibe. The story being told via the track is a multi-coloured and multi-dimensional all-immersive case of love. He’s clearly hooked and can’t do a thing about it, despite recognising the bad influence of his lover.

“She’s been playing with my heart too long,
Should have never picked up the phone.”

Through “Bad Bad Love”‘s neon showscape of a music video, we’re pulled into an alternate reality of electricity and colour; aptly capturing how taken he is by the forces of love for the woman who is seemingly manipulating him.

The catchy and danceable track reflects the angst of wanting to break free or at least understand why he’s so smitten beyond reason.
