Falling In Reverse have released a new music video for “Superhero”; the eighth track from their Coming Home album (released 7th April).
For “Superhero”, Falling In Reverse have taken a Stranger Things themed approach, and we see three friends plan their escape (via blasting off into space) from the things they can’t overcome.
“I don’t wanna be a superhero
‘Cause I can’t save the world
So I’m never gonna get the girl
I just wanna do better”
As we noted in the review of Coming Home, ‘this track seems to be another instance of Ronnie acknowledging himself as an imperfect person, who can’t be anything more than his flawed self. There’s relief in that acceptance of not having to be everything to everyone and while it may seem like a negative message, the point is just to be a better version of who you are, not trying to be superhuman.’
