Today’s Track Of The Day comes from those intense, real and honest guys in Falling In Reverse. “I Hate Everyone” is fifth on the Coming Home album.
“I Hate Everyone” as a title might make you laugh or cringe, but there’s a point here that Falling In Reverse are getting at in this rock ballad of hatred. Lyrically, they describe an experience of broken trust, and a cascade of hate in response to the hurt from that.
We’ve all felt the intensity that comes from the destruction of trust by a person in our lives, it can easily lead to a distrust of not just them everyone and everything, even if temporary.
“I hate your guts
I hate his too
I hate myself for loving you”
“I Hate Everyone” has impressive guitar work and in comparison to other tracks on Coming Home, it feels more firmly in the genre of rock, with the focus less on electronic elements.
Check out “I Hate Everyone”, as well as the rest of these anthems of fiery honesty on Falling In Reverse’s Coming Home.
