Enter Shikari – Rabble Rouser (Edit) (New Music)

The creative geniuses in Enter Shikari have followed up their quirky yet poignant “Live Outside” with “Rabble Rouser”. Both have firmly whet my appetite for The Spark; their fifth full-length studio album, releasing on 22nd September.

“Rabble Rouser” is eccentrically badass, seeming to tell a story about the experience of live music done right. Trash talking the cookie-cutter predictability of generic rockstars. The twanging and grooving melody is taunting as well as arrogant; much like ‘We’re doing this thing our own way, are you ready for this? Are you in?’

“It’s gonna be a show stop, road block,
and we are the epicenter of the bedrock of a new sound”

Enter Shikari inviting us all to lose ourselves in the loud madness of live music as a connective and collective hell-raising wild time.

Sonically you can also lose yourself in the experimental unexpectedness of what “Rabble Rouser” brings too. Rock meets rap meets electro meets everything you could ever want. Much like a live show, expect the unexpected.

It’s all about stock rockstars in the “Rabble Rouser” video too, with the duplication of the members of Enter Shikari, only to dispose of the real ones.

The Spark clock is ticking, are you in or are you out? Are you keen to rabble rouse? Don’t lose your nerve. You have until 22nd September. Pre-order right HERE.
