Bordeaux based Back Garden Light have released a new track and video, celebrating their signing with Red Toad Records. “Jumping Fences”, released through Back Garden Light’s new ‘home’ comes off the back of the French four piece’s tour of Japan and Europe. The music video celebrates the tour adventures of band members Max Desgarnier (vocals), Hugo Tim Peix (drums),Tom Saulnier (bass & vocals), and Keyvin Nominé (guitar).
Finding their way comfortably positioned between pop punk and metalcore, “Jumping Fences” is soaked in escapism and leaving the known for an exciting adventure. They’ve woven this theme in with their tour footage, and the track’s sound echoes their adventures with Japanese audio clips.
“Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen.”
With light electronic accents, and warm homecoming vibes, Back Garden Light bring gritty riffs and moments of freedom in “Jumping Fences”. Expansive choruses stand out on this compassionate and curious track. It’s inspirational and ecstatic in its quest to encourage people to continue to follow their passions and explore the things that make them feel alive. “Jumping Fences” is infectiously inspiring.
