Adaptors – Closer (New Music)

Sydney indie rock band Adaptors have released a new single and video, as well as recently finished up their east coast tour of Australia to celebrate.

Their new track “Closer” has a warm and flowing sound, as well as a captivating music video. As a track it feels like a beckoning to move into something tantalising but also a little scary.

“Through these walls, cracks and seams
There’s a world out there, it’s free
Hold me back
I can’t breathe
Why must I leave?”

The flow is captured visually in “Closer”‘s video by a meandering skateboarder exploring the night, mostly alone, making unexpected connections on his journey. The skateboarder continues, ending up somewhere very different to where he began.
