This is one heck of a way to introduce your band and your mission. The FEVER are a three piece consisting of former letlive. frontman Jason Aalon Butler, Aric Improta of Night Verses and Stephen Harrison of The Chariot.
As you’ll soon figure out when you hear The FEVER’s debut track, lyrics aren’t the focus with “We’re Coming In”. The focus is the relentlessness of force, that threatens to chip away at the status quo, and you can feel that sonically, much like the relentlessness of the T-1000 bad cop in Terminator 2 who just never. gives. up.
“We’re coming in, motherfucker”
The FEVER are standing up as a voice for the ‘tired, frustrated, and brave’ and they aspire to begin a conversation to spark change via their music. They set the wheels in motion of this endeavour with a secret launch on Independence Day in the car park of Randy’s Donuts in Inglewood, CA.
“We’re Coming In” takes aim at ‘false American prophets/profits’ and The FEVER is forcefully adding their voice, whether it’s welcomed or not. The three of The FEVER have a fire of passion that kicks off a hype-ferno. That passion rips through the track in waves, mowing down any resistance in their way with relentless and repeated riffs and lyrics.
