Brisbane five piece The Brave have just released a brand new track and video: “Ethereal”, and I am in love. The Brave are Nathan Toussaint (vocals), Kurt Thomson (guitar), Daniel Neucom (bass), David Mead (guitar) and Brent Thomson (drums).
At first “Ethereal” is a sweet blend of massiveness and tender vocals. The vibe is searching and questioning.

We are ethereal”
The second verse gains desperation in expressing a need to focus on what’s important; the truth. The choruses are anthemic battlecries against heavier forces that threaten to crush or defeat us, asking us to hold strong.
The imagery of the music video supports the same message, breaking free of things that would hold us back or stuck, keeping focus on where we want to go and never letting go of that.
