Palisades – Let Down (Track Of The Day, 16th March)

Today’s Track Of The Day is from Palisades‘ self-titled album, released in January. One track from the Palisades album that has stuck with us is “Let Down”.

“Let Down” is confrontation with swagger, directed toward a toxic relationship that seems impossible to quit. The lyrics tell a story of trying and failing to make it work, beyond reason.

“I’ve been so good to you
Whatever you need
Not there for me
Expecting you to be
A remedy
Doin’ what you please
Still makin’ me sick
At the thought of you and me”

The electronicore group have created track that’s funky, heavy and powerful. Check it out, as well as the whole of the Palisades album.
