Neck Deep – In Bloom (New Music)

UK pop punk band Neck Deep are following up their 2015 Life Is Not Out To Get You album with The Peace And The Panic (releasing August 18th).

The latest single from the upcoming album is “In Bloom”, which has been released with a new music video that is almost too perfectly sweet in its pastel hues and pretty aesthetic.

But if you look closely, you can see the sharp edges existing underneath perfection that is trying too hard. This expression is also reflected in the song.

“And this won’t be the last time that I break down and wanna crawl to bed,
Cuz the truth is, you’re the only voice I wanna hear in my head.”

“In Bloom” asks to be allowed time with things, to feel them as they are, without pressure to be sunshiney, perhaps to be able to marvel at things from within the rubble after being hit with a massive force.

Check out “In Bloom”.
