Linkin Park have released another song from their upcoming album Heavy. As they shared with us already, the song “Heavy” was described as capturing what the sound would be on the album.
“Battle Symphony” fits what Mike Shinoda shared; That as a band, it was important for them (in surveying the state of things going on in the world around us) to put out ideas and messages that they find helpful, as well as creating a sense of community to share that people who DO feel weighed down are not alone.
The track inspires courage to continue and keep going, not giving up. It’s a slower track, with a very chilled and easy beat, making it feel like sweet encouragement versus fight or force.
“When my armour breaks
I’ll fuse it back together.”
