If you didn’t realise it yet, we are huge fans of the I See Stars album Treehouse. We love the light and shade and this yin and yang combo they have going on in their sound, being just as comfortable with heavy and grungey sound including growls and screams, as they are in angelic vocals and sweet electro lightness.
“Running With Scissors” includes the full I See Stars’ sound spectrum; opening up with a dirty and heavy guitar riff and pummelled drums before quickly lightening up into clean vocals and a simple repeated melody. It’s catchy as anything and sticks with you.
