Track Of The Day is the epic “Portals” from I See Stars; the eleventh track of their Treehouse album.
“Portals” is an adventure of a song, starting softly and lightly (“Say you don’t believe..”) before being pulled away and into metalcore gear (“I’m just trying to breathe fire!”) with heavy drums and guitars more prominent.
“Portals” is a push to remember our humanness (“Red’s the color we bleed”) and how when we harm someone we harm ourselves. It’s a wake-up call, how taking the bad news and negativity of the world as a means to hate is forgetting our realness, and taking a stance of being centered and present is more powerful to inspire change than falling into what we’re told is truth.

Four seconds to run”
