Our Track Of The Day is as subtle as a sledgehammer. Falling In Reverse do grand rock anthems well and “Fuck You And All Your Friends” is heavy and brilliant in all of its high drama.
“Fuck You And All Your Friends” is ‘revenge rock’ at its harshest: A scathing ode to a former best friendship gone sour (and a musical reminder to never get on the wrong side of Ronnie Radke).
Lyrically, “Fuck You And All Your Friends” turns the promises, history, and loyalty of another upside down and stomps on them without ambiguity or regret. It wishes nothing but the worst possible future for this former friend.
You can feel the venom as the lyrics are spat out while guitars growl and blast, and drums hit hard.
“I’m done with you for good
We were always like a time bomb ticking
And you’re so Hollywood
You’re always searching for the next best thing
And it’s for the better
So I guess best friends don’t last forever”
And (maybe surprisingly) this rocketfire fueled hatefest is a massive and catchy anthem. With ‘la la la’s and big choruses, Falling In Reverse playfully poke into those parts of us that are so furiously and extremely angered by another that we may be feeling every raging word of this, even if we may never say it out loud.
Sing along with our Track Of The Day.
