Falling In Reverse – Coming Home (Track Of The Day, 12th January)

Today’s Track Of The Day is a track I wear like a hug: It’s comforting, it’s a kickass song, it’s also catchy and singable (“Woahh ohhh”).

It comes from Falling In Reverse and is a nibble of new music from the band (more, please!), and comes in the form of ‘space rock’.

“Coming Home” starts with delicate piano keys before opening up into a grand rock sound. We love the massive sound and how spectacular it all is.

Spacey effects over the track as well as the lyrics communicate an earth-to-heavens connection and a reassurance to ‘hold on’.

“A fallen angel is what you are
Your father has forsaken you
Left you with those scars
My hope is that you’ll make it through
Hate must never win
Even if we’re worlds apart
Your love is not a sin
Even if it’s hard”

Enjoy “Coming Home” and tell us what you think about this one on Twitter or Facebook. [Edited on 5th April to add the stunning official video!]
