DREGG – Ridiculous (New Music)

Melbourne hardcore band DREGG have a new single and video out today: “Ridiculous”.

Directed by DREGG’s collaborative partner, Jack Rudder, “Ridiculous” takes a theatrical and metaphor-heavy approach to the current state of the world. The animated effects and lyrics adding to the punch of their message.

Barely over one minute long, “Ridiculous” is action packed and chaotic, and you’ll need to soak it up several times to see everything you need to see.

The track pokes at image, prejudice, religion, socially acceptable behaviour, and censorship, with a bombardment of stances and statements that is head-spinningly intense. We’re so busy processing all of these things in our daily lives that the question has to be asked: Are we getting anywhere?

Watch the video for “Ridiculous” below.
