UK rockers Don Broco have announced that their third album Technology is due for release in early 2018 via SharpTone Records. In the meantime, the Bedford four piece have released “Stay Ignorant” as the latest single from the album, along with a music video. It follows other singles of “Technology”, “Pretty” and “Everybody”.
“Stay Ignorant” is a multi-flavoured taste explosion of a song. It brings quirkiness and sunglasses with dance vibes at first, before amping up into an anthemic chorus.
Frontman Rob Damiani shared that the lyrics were inspired by the Lord Byron quote, “Sorrow is knowledge: they who know the most must mourn the deepest o’er the fatal truth, the Tree of Knowledge is not that of Life.”
“Wide awake
Thinking about the things I saw go down the drain
Goodnight love
Woe”
You can’t see what’s coming ahead here, so just be ready for a sonic adventure. Stay for the beautiful bridge. Soak up the massive riffs. Let this get in your head.
