French progressive metal band The Dali Thundering Concept have album Savages on the way, releasing 13th April via Apathia Records. The fresh single “Ink” is the first to be shared off the album, and includes a vocal feature by Adam Warren of Oceano.
“Ink” is an insanely hectic piece of music, with goosebump-inciting guitar as well as blistering interludes of rhythmic harshness. Bass grooves meld with searing escapist dreamscape sections, and punishing pockets feature, which includes a massive breakdown section.
“Sheeps are bleating around pieces of cloth”
The Dali Thundering Concept seem to be commenting on the smug safety of the orchestration of white-collar controlled war; where alliances are determined by those that hold the puppet strings, deciding the latest angle that humanity’s hate should take.
Savages will explore this concept and more, with the album being said to be a ‘dark projection of the future of humanity’. Pre-orders are available [here].
