Today’s Track Of The Day is a love song from Bring Me The Horizon. “Follow You” is a track from That’s The Spirit, heavily leaning into light electronics for this typically heavy band. This ode to unconditional (morbid) love is so light that it’s danceable, with more of a rock sound in the choruses.
“Come sink into me and let me breathe you in
I’ll be your gravity, you be my oxygen
So dig two graves cause when you die
I swear I’ll be leaving by your side”
The music video for “Follow You” expresses that unconditional love to the extreme, making the point of how love can make us oblivious to the chaos around us. It portrays a world where anarchy, murder, destruction and zombies have taken over, and follows a character toward his beloved’s (bullet-ridden) house.
