If you've ever heard sultry Second Life songstress Valeria Pera sing, you know she hits her mark when she hollers to the crowd to don their belly dance animations before she starts a passionate, full-range cover of one of Shakira's songs. The rolling "r's" that most of us couldn't emulate in Spanish class slip easily from her multilingual tongue. Although she lives just outside of the midwest's Kansas City, Missouri, she was born in Tachikawa, Japan. Now the thirty six year old mother of two fills her days as a teacher of English and Spanish. She's no stranger to the real life stage, though. From humble beginnings at the tender age of eighteen singing behind a chicken wire cage, a la Blues Brothers, to performing five nights a week here in Second Life at various venues. She's come a long way from annoying her parents with endless renditions of “Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue”.

Affectionately known as Valzilla, for her ability to crash a sim as her fan base flocks to see her live performances, her voice is smooth, sexy and inviting yet filled with a power that projects the fiery heart pumping inside her. Armed with an extensive play list, and preferring to take your requests, her shows are an interactive experience where she loves and encourages crowd participation. Valeria is a gift that has been bestowed on us here in Second Life and everyone should take advantage of that, so get off your multi-poseball couches and join her group **Val's Pals** to get the very latest information about her upcoming performances.
